Not Another Awards Post (Except… It Is)
We know. Another awards post. The internet’s full of them. Big fonts, dramatic emojis, and a plea to “vote now!” like your click will single-handedly change the course of culinary history.
But this one’s different. Promise.
Because this isn’t just about winning the British Street Food Awards (though yes, we’d very much like to do that again). It’s about celebrating the venues that have already become part of your weekends, your group chats, your go-to recommendations when someone asks, “where should we go?”
Last year, Cambridge Street Collective took the crown before it had even blown out its first birthday candle. It casually dethroned Cutlery Works, our other Sheffield sibling and two-year reigning champ./ And this year? We’re back. Our Sheffield food halls and Kargo MKT in Salford Quays are in the running again, and Tower Bridge Collective is watching closely. Not just as the proud younger sibling, but as the next big thing.
Because TBC isn’t just following in Blend Family’s footsteps, it’s dancing in them. It’s already curating the workshops you didn’t know you needed, planning the markets that make you feel good about spending, and hosting events that always deliver. Awards? Oh, they’re coming. But first, we’ve got a crown to reclaim.
So yes, this is an awards post. But it’s also a thank you. To everyone who’s already part of this story. Who’s eaten, danced, and voted with us. You’re not just supporting our spaces; you’re shaping a movement.
And if you haven’t voted yet… what are you doing? Unless you’re busy hand-whittling a spoon for your next street food meal, we’re going to need you to click that link. This is your moment to back the places that turn street food into culture.
Vote Cambridge Street Collective. Because legends don’t win by accident. They win with your click.
